home is where the haunt is
be a ghost! haunt the house! play ectoplasm fetch with a dog! a short game where you can haunt a couple who've moved into your home. made in bitsy :)
CONTROLS:
web browser: wasd to move. move into things to interact! tap any key to progress text!
on mobile: swipe to move! move into things to interact! tap anywhere to progress text!
p.s. sometimes the text glitches and appears black. i think this is something to do with the colour so i've removed coloured text where i find it, but if it happens just click on the item again. also doors are usually the progression points :)

Very cute :) The art is really nice too. The outside of the house looks great and the kitchen appliances look spot on.
For the black screens in the dialogue, is it the text glitching, or do you have empty spaces in the Dialogue bit inside of Bitsy? Sometimes those boxes appear like that for me when there is a bit of empty space. Particularly if I'm writing code for the dialogue and not using the editor.
thank you so much! I think that it is the text glitching and not empty space as I do have dialogue there, which sometimes reappears when I re-click on the sprite, but doesn't show up the first time :)
it's a nice ghost story, I like it. The game needs some cleanup imo, and I suggest you making it playable in browser so more people can try it!
